Cathy Brewis joined the team in July 2010. Since 2005, she has volunteered on various conservation projects, including reintroduction programmes with lions, sea turtles and chimpanzees. In 2009, she graduated from Oxford Brookes University with an MSc in Primate Conservation and afterwards travelled to Peru, where she met Sam and Noga as a volunteer for the yellow-tailed woolly monkey project. She has recently returned from Sierra Leone, where she was working for the Gola Forest Programme and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, studying the ecology of Diana monkeys.
