A new children education book
Here is a short story in Spanish we made for children to teach them about wildlife trafficking. It tells the story of a parrot that had their babies stolen by a trafficker and sets off in search of them in the city. On the way she meets two children that help her save many animals from the wildlife market, and taking them to a rescue center. In the end the surviving animals are released. The book is a joint project by NPC and the Regional Environmental Authority of Amazonas. It was written and illustrated by Yeissy Sarmiento and colored by Claudia Salazar.
Please feel free to download the booklet, read it to your children or use it as part of any environmental education project.
